TFAR Communications

Before Mission Radio Configuration

  • Make sure the [CAPS LOCK] key is not used for talking in TeamSpeak

  • Turn off voice over network (VON) in ARMA 3 or change key to different than Caps Lock (to avoid voice doubling). ( do this in your key binds)

  • Make sure the volume of alerts is not turned off in Team Speak: Options > Payback > Sound Pack Volume - set a positive value.

You will get the same nick both in the game profile and TeamSpeak

- plugin will change your nickname in TS during the game.

For Mission Makers

I highly recommend using preprogrammed radios in your missions, there are a few ways to do this with mods or with in the mission itself.

the easiest is use 3den enhanced Mod by R3vo

When you select the group, you will see a section called Composition: TFAR Properties

In each field enter the frequencies with a coma between each number

There are eight short range channels 30–512 MHz

Example: 100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107

There are nine long range channels 30–87 MHz

Example: 30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37
